Highland Park is a highly recognized and award winning distillery. Their whiskey is known and loved all over the world. The distillery was established in 1798 on Orkney, and is today one of the most remote distilleries in Scotland. This northern island provides access to a unique peat from the distillery’s own bog, as well as water from the very same spring that has fed the distillery for more than 200 years. Classic Highland Park flavor notes can be described as honeyed with orange peel and with a slightly smoky character. Silver Seal’s Highland Park 23 Years Old is perhaps the best whiskey from Highland Park ever.

240 bottles of this single malt whiskey have been bottled, which comes from cask number 8090. The whiskey was also distilled in 1991 and bottled in 2015, which gives it an aging time of 23 years. The color is very dark – an extremely beautiful color, which is characteristic of a whiskey that has spent many years in oak casks. This whiskey is a single cask bottling and bottled at cask strength of 51.5%.
