Antigua 7 yo (2015/2022) S.B.S is the first bottling from the small West Indian island made by S.B.S. At an approximate 90.000 inhabitants, it’s one of the smaller island states in the Caribbean. Rum is also produced here and this release was matured in wonderful ex-bourbon casks. Owing to the this, interested owners can expect warm notes of chocolate, vanilla and oak wood in a release that was limited to only 257 bottles. And if you are of the opinion, that 64.9% ABV is a little too far on the strong side, don’t feel left out! By adding a few drops of water, the spicy nuances are only brought to the forefront.
