Coloma 15 yo, 40% is a rum made from molasses from two different varieties of sugar cane. The rum is aged in American oak casks for 15 years, then transferred to oak casks that have contained coffee liqueur for a few more months. This last phase gives the rum a large part of its originality. Before filtering and bottling on site, the rum is reduced with spring water from the Andes.
Taste-wise, Coloma 15 yo is 40% full-bodied, with sweet spices, oak, vanilla, caramel, nuts, tobacco and more. A soft pleasure!
