Jamaica White Pot Still, Rum Nation, 57%

Acid, glue and varnish are the first to jump in the nose. Maybe not notes that seems appealing. But this one really smells of real pure raw Jamaica potstill power. Green bananas are also present in the scent.

The taste is more subdued than the aroma. Barely so wild. There is plenty of fruit and natural sweetness (not added sugar) Oiled obesity, pepper, green herbs and a little hint of tequila. Finally, a bit of licorice comes out of the molasses. This is not a rum made to drink straight out of the bottle. But of course you have to try it and then you have to make some cool cocktails on it, for example a strawberry daiquiri or a delicious tiki cocktail.

Jamaica is one of the countries in the world that is capable of producing the most powerful rum in the world. The ester content is often high in this rum as well.
