Benriach Single Malt 2013 (bottled 2021), Wilson & Morgan – Barrel Selection (PX Sherry Finish), 46% is a classic Speyside malt, with a PX Sherry cask finish. The finish is actually 12 months to be precise!
This whisky is, as said, in classic Speyside style, with notes of malt, flowers and a bit of dryness. Spices from the start alongside nuts, dried fruits, peaches, plums and some sweetness. Dry, peppery and tannins in the finish.
