We LOVE serving rum for you, we love sharing knowledge, experiences, and good stories. The forum we create, where we together taste good and different rums with their own expressions, geek out, and enjoy the good stories that always come when enjoying a good whisky – is fantastic.

We’ve been around the world many times – now it’s time for another tour, with a detour to the Philippines!

To guide us through this tasting, we have Jesper from Bastard Spirits, as well as of course Daniel “The Whisky Viking” from Vault of Spirits.

Join the Virtual Rum Tasting with Bastard Spirits on February 20th at 8:30 PM
Under expert guidance, you’ll get to taste a carefully selected collection of exotic rum treasures. The tasting includes seven exquisite bottlings, spread across two very different halves:

– Tanduay 10 yo Reserve Rum, 40%
– Tanduay Overproof Reserve Rum, 50.5%
– Tanduay Pilipinas Especia Spiced Rum, 40%
– Spirited Union XO Columbia Rum – Double Cask, 40.5%
– Spirited Union XO Panama Rum – Double Cask, 41.3%
– Spirited Union XO Jamaica Rum – Double Cask, 42.7%
– Spirited Union Honey Rum Liqueur, 30%

This is how our Virtual Rum Tasting will take place:
If you would like to participate, you need to purchase your rum tasting set here in the shop – and we will send you a package with 3cl samples that we will taste together. On Friday, February 20th at 8:30 PM, we will go LIVE on Facebook via the Vault of Spirits Denmark Facebook page.

At 8:20 PM, a LIVE stream will pop up in the event with a 10-minute countdown to the Virtual Rum Tasting. At 8:30 PM, we will hold a “regular” (ahem) rum tasting with good stories and useful knowledge – while you sit at home in your very best armchair, alone, maybe with your friends, family, or guests, tasting the same rum as us. We will tell the story behind each rum and share good anecdotes.

Food-approved tasting sets
Your tasting set consists of rum that has been transferred into small approved sample glasses.
