This bottle of Vallein Tercinier Hors d’Age Cognac (minimum 40 yo) is something entirely unique. Originating from the Saintonge region of France, the Vallein Tercinier family has created cognac for five generations. It is easy to see that they have perfected the craft upon opening a bottle of Vallein Tercinier. It has turned into something of an art for the French. The nose is greeted by sweet memories of flowers such as violets and acacia honey. The impression is replace with the mildness of cherries and tropical fruits. And in the palate the cherries make their presence known accompanied by full-bodied caramel to the organic melody of spices such as ginger. Vallein Tercinier, who are known to wait patiently for their finished product, guarantees that none of the drops within this bottle are less than 40 years of age. It is even publicly known that a part of this cognac was bottled back in the year of 1922. It is thereby not difficult to recommend Hors d’Age for the next glass of what has been called the drink of kings.
