Production Method

• Raw materials: 100% Scottish malted barley, including a portion that is malted with Orkney’s unique aromatic peat, rich in heather and sweet woodsmoke
• Distillation process: Double distilled in traditional copper pot stills that maintain Highland Park’s distinctive character
• Maturation: Aged for 25 years predominantly in first-fill European and American sherry-seasoned oak casks
• Special techniques: Hand-turned floor malting of a portion of the barley using the distinctive aromatic Orkney peat
