• Raw materials: 100% Scottish malted barley from Macallan’s Six Pillars estate in Speyside, Scotland
• Distillation process: Distilled in The Macallan’s uniquely small copper stills, which contribute to the rich, concentrated character
• Maturation: Aged in a combination of European and American oak casks seasoned with sherry, specifically selected to enhance chocolate notes
• Special techniques: Created in collaboration with pastry chef Jordi Roca of El Celler de Can Roca, with Macallan Whisky Maker Polly Logan immersing herself in the world of chocolate production
