Sipsmith London Dry Gin represents the revival of traditional small-batch gin distilling in London, becoming the first copper pot still distillery to open in London in nearly 200 years when it launched in 2009.

Production Method

• Raw materials: 10 classic botanicals including Macedonian juniper berries, Bulgarian coriander seed, French angelica root, Spanish licorice root, Italian orris root, Spanish ground almond, Chinese cassia bark, Madagascan cinnamon, Sevillian orange peel and Spanish lemon peel.
• Distillation process: Traditional one-shot distillation in copper pot stills named Prudence, Patience, and Constance, creating a smooth and balanced spirit without requiring additional rectification.
• Maturation: No barrel aging is involved, maintaining the fresh botanical character of a classic London Dry Gin.
• Special techniques: Maceration of botanicals for 15 hours before distillation, with only the “heart cuts” of the distillation run used in the final product.
