Virtual Whisky Tasting | Detention 3

We LOVE serving whisky for you, we love sharing knowledge, experiences, and good stories. The forum we create together, where we taste good and diverse whiskies with their unique expressions, geek out about them, and enjoy the great stories that always accompany a fine whisky – it’s fantastic.

And after both a trip to school and a stint at university, it’s now time for a good old-fashioned detention session!

Virtual Whisky Tasting – Detention will consist of 4 tastings throughout 2025
While we sit in detention, we’ll taste various whiskies, guided by Daniel ‘The Whisky Viking’ and Louis from Mac Y. We’re planning to make enough noise to earn ourselves another detention!

There will be 4 detention sessions throughout 2025 with different themes – and who knows – maybe even a trip to the principal’s office…

Here’s how our Virtual Whisky Tasting will work:
If you’d like to participate, you need to purchase your whisky tasting set here in the shop – and we’ll send you a package with 3cl samples that we’ll taste together. On Friday, September 12th at 8:30 PM, we’ll go LIVE on Facebook via the Vault of Spirits Denmark Facebook page.

At 8:20 PM, a LIVE stream will appear in the event with a 10-minute countdown to the Virtual Whisky Tasting. At 8:30 PM, we’ll host a “regular” (ahem ahem) whisky tasting with great stories and useful knowledge – while you sit at home in your very best armchair, alone, perhaps with your friends, your family, or guests, tasting the same whisky as us. We’ll share the story behind each whisky and other interesting tales.

If you haven’t tried a virtual tasting on Facebook before – it can be difficult to know if it’s for you or “what it actually is.” But by clicking here – you can see the LIVE streaming from our Virtual Whisky Tasting in August 2024, where we held Whisky University 3rd semester.

Don’t worry! If September 12th doesn’t fit your schedule, you can always watch the tasting afterward. After the LIVE stream ends, the tasting will be freely available on Vault of Spirits Denmark’s YouTube channel – you can find it here.

Food-approved tasting sets
Your tasting set consists of whisky that has been transferred into small approved sample glasses.
