We LOVE serving whisky for you, we love sharing knowledge, experiences, and good stories. The forum we create, where we together taste good and different whiskies with their unique expressions, geek out, and enjoy the great stories that always accompany a good whisky – is fantastic.

And after both a trip to school and university, it’s now time for a good old-fashioned detention!

Virtual Whisky Tasting – Detention will consist of 4 tastings throughout 2025

While we sit in detention, we’ll taste a variety of different whiskies, and to tell us about them, we have Daniel ‘The Whisky Viking’ and Louis from Mac Y. We’re hoping to make enough noise to earn ourselves another detention!

There will be 4 detentions throughout 2025 with different themes – and who knows – maybe a trip to the principal’s office…

For the fourth and final detention, we’re playing hooky and taking a trip to Scotland – we’ll start in the Scottish Highlands and then head out to the “smoky isles”.

Here’s how our Virtual Whisky Tasting will work:

If you want to participate, you need to purchase your whisky tasting set here in the shop – and we will send you a package with 3 cl samples that we will taste together. On Friday, November 21st at 8:30 PM, we will go LIVE on Facebook via the Vault of Spirits Denmark Facebook page.

At 8:20 PM, a LIVE-stream will pop up in the event with a 10-minute countdown to the Virtual Whisky Tasting. At 8:30 PM, we’ll host a “regular” (ahem) whisky tasting with good stories and useful knowledge – while you sit at home in your very best armchair, alone, perhaps with your friends, your family, or guests, tasting the same whisky as us. We’ll tell the story behind each whisky and share interesting anecdotes.

But how does a Virtual Whisky Tasting on Facebook work EXACTLY?

Don’t worry! If November 21st doesn’t fit your schedule, you can always watch the tasting afterward. After the LIVE-stream ends, the tasting will be freely available on the Vault of Spirits YouTube channel.

Food-approved tasting sets

Your tasting set consists of whisky that has been transferred into small approved sample glasses.
