Production Method

• Ingredients: Traditional Orkney barley and Highland Park’s characteristic peated malt
• Distillation Process: Double distillation in Highland Park’s copper stills with slow fermentation
• Maturation: 16 years of aging in a combination of virgin Swedish oak casks, ex-bourbon casks and sherry-seasoned oak casks
• Special Techniques: Triple cask maturation creates a complex and nuanced flavor profile

Tasting Notes

• Aroma: Rich and complex with notes of honey, dried fruit and light peat smoke
• Taste: Balanced sweetness from the bourbon casks, spicy notes from the sherry maturation and fresh wood notes from virgin oak
