Introduction

M&H Classic Single Malt represents the pioneering spirit of Israel’s first whisky distillery, Milk & Honey, crafting exceptional spirits in the Mediterranean climate of Tel Aviv since 2012.

Production Method

• Raw materials: 100% malted barley, locally sourced water, and special yeast strains selected for Israel’s warm climate
• Distillation process: Double distilled in traditional copper pot stills designed with guidance from the late Dr. Jim Swan
• Maturation: Primarily aged in ex-bourbon casks and virgin oak with some portions matured in STR (Shaved, Toasted, Re-charred) wine casks
• Special techniques: Accelerated maturation due to Israel’s hot climate, with casks aging in various microclimates throughout the country, including the Dead Sea region

Tasting Notes

• Nose: Vanilla, light oak, caramel and a gentle hint of black pepper with fresh orchard fruits
• Palate: Creamy malt with notes of honey, light vanilla, and a balanced blend of oak and subtle Mediterranean herbs
• Finish: Medium length with lingering notes of spice, oak and sweet malt with a pleasant warmth
