Production Method

• Raw materials: 100% malted barley sourced from selected suppliers, with pure Welsh water from the Brecon Beacons National Park
• Distillation process: Distilled in Penderyn’s unique Faraday copper pot still, which produces a clean, high-strength spirit at around 92% ABV
• Maturation: Initial maturation in ex-bourbon barrels from Buffalo Trace Distillery, followed by finishing in specially treated STR (shaved, toasted, and re-charred) red wine casks
• Special techniques: Bottled without chill-filtration to preserve the full range of flavors and natural character of the whisky

• Nose: Rich vanilla, caramel, and honey sweetness with hints of red fruits, cinnamon spice, and a subtle oakiness
