Introduction

Syv Sind Gin was created by the seven founders behind Sall Whisky Distillery, each of whom has contributed to a unique gin series with seven planned releases – one per man, seven minds and seven carefully selected botanicals. Femte Sind is the summer girl of the series: a fresh, fruity and elegant Old Tom Gin that each year celebrates the season’s finest rhubarb and the warm, rounded complexity of vanilla pods.

Production Method

• Ingredients: 100% organic botanicals, including juniper berries, coriander seeds, liquorice root, Danish elderflower and fresh lemon peel – complemented by the year’s harvest of fresh, organic rhubarb and vanilla pods
• Distillation process: Botanicals are added during the distillation itself, ensuring a deep and natural integration of the aromas into the distillate
• Maturation: Unaged – Femte Sind is a clear gin whose character rests entirely on the fresh botanicals and the infusion process
• Special techniques: After distillation, the gin is infused with fresh rhubarb and vanilla pods; the sweetness is subsequently adjusted with organic cane sugar in true Old Tom style. Gentle filtration preserves natural flavours and may result in a slight, natural sediment – a sign of genuine ingredients and no additives

• Nose: Fresh and inviting with distinct notes of tart rhubarb, soft vanilla and floral tones from Danish elderflower, underpinned by subtle hints of citrus and juniper
