Production Method

• Raw materials: 100% Scottish malted barley, sourced primarily from The Macallan’s Six Pillars estate and surrounding farms in Speyside
• Distillation process: Distilled in The Macallan’s distinctive small copper stills, which are among the smallest in Speyside, creating a rich and concentrated spirit
• Maturation: Aged in a bespoke selection of first-fill and refill European and American oak casks, all previously seasoned with Oloroso sherry from Jerez, Spain
• Special techniques: Created through “The Macallan Whisky Maker’s Art” – a meticulous hand-selection of the rarest sherry seasoned oak casks and careful vatting to create perfect harmony and complexity
