Ardnamurchan Distillery is located on the wild and remote Ardnamurchan Peninsula in western Scotland – one of the most isolated distilleries in the entire country – and has made a name for itself since its founding in 2014 with ambitious and exceptionally crafted expressions. This AD/ White Port Cask Release is the distillery’s first-ever White Port finish, marking an exciting and historic chapter in Ardnamurchan’s young but already highly regarded history.

Production Method

• Ingredients: 100% unpeated malted barley, in keeping with Ardnamurchan’s tradition of pure and precise craftsmanship
• Distillation process: Distilled at Ardnamurchan Distillery using copper pot stills, which yield a fruity and delicate spirit of great complexity
• Maturation: Primary maturation in classic bourbon casks, followed by a finish in White Port barriques, which impart elegant, fruity and subtly sweet nuances
• Special techniques: Non-chill filtered and free from added colouring, ensuring the most authentic flavour experience; bottled at cask strength at 52% ABV from a limited production of 6,800 bottles
